CHAPTER V - Tea with Dalai Lama...

Ladies and Gents,

Blondie fell in love, big time!!!

With Tibet! And, Tibetan people, culture, history, art, monks, temples and dogs...(sorry My Lion...)
Believe it or not, but Tibetan dogs are fat and fluffy, while Indian dogs are skinny and sick...

McLeod Ganj - elev 1770 m - is a secret place high in the mountains, where His Hilliness lives, people are happy, dogs are full and where you can buy wonderful hand made jewellery, scarfs, shawls and everything your hungry eyes and scared wallet want!!!
It is highly probable that Blondie and her new friend, Hanna from Sweden, saw Dalai Lama in a jeep, that passed them on Sat morning, on their way for Tibetan breakfast...peeping inside the jeep wasn't easy, especially for someone as blind as Blondie, but Hanna confirmed that the person in the first jeep, there were two, looked very much like him! Later on, monk also confirmed that he was in the temple for the morning prayers, so all the facts make sense...I am sure Jessica Fletcher would agree...:-)))
The place and people were so peaceful and friendly and there was no hassling from obsessive sellers...loved it! So, soon, coming back for more, in Nepal! The biggest TIbetan community is in Nepal.
On Sun the two brave girls decided to get some exercise and went out for a little hike in the mountains to find a secret waterfall, the one which is not in a guide book, but which locations was reviled to them by a mysterious single tourist on the way...
And then, at 6.00 p.m Blondie started her real lonely trip (so far she hasn't been alone for a moment), to Delhi and then Kolkata...
