CHAPTER VI - Bus ride to Hell!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER, EVER, EVER take an overnight bus in India, thinking that you can actually lay down at the very back seats when they are empty and seductively invite you to lay down, stretch and relax and spend the night blissfully sleeping....
THIS SHIT DOES NOT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that she is, as we all know blond, has nothing to do here with the fact that she took the last seats...she knew that it always shakes at the back, but hey, can't have everything, right? That was a mistake, A BIG BIG MISTAKE.....
For 12 long, dark, miserious hours Blondie was being stirred and shaken, tossed, thrown around and generally tortured in any other way you can imagine...Desperately trying to find a position, any position, which would allow her to rest her eyes even for few minutes, she tried everything - legs on a window, logs on a front seat. legs curled up, legs stretched, on a side, on her back, (the seat was way too filthy to try on her tummy allowing her cute face anywhere near it) half-sitting, half-squatting...
After few hours of this exercise, she gave up. Then, she did the only thing that was there left to do...she plunged into chocolate-cream biscuits and Georgie's sweet voice. Listening to "Faith", "Heal the Pain", "A Different Corner" (she tried that as well) etc...she decided to endure the misery in silence...
That was one of the longest nights in history of Blondie's short, but intensive life...later on, towards the dawn, she even managed to nod off for an hour, all exhausted with eating and Goergie's I Want You Sex.....
That was one of the longest nights in Blondie's short, but intense life...
At 7.00 a.m. she reached Delhi...well, somewhere in the outskirts of Delhi actually...she thought of getting a hotel close to the airport (for her early flight the following morning) which was somewhere on the other side of this crazy city, but convinced by Tanzing, a Tibetan guy she bumped into, she stayed where she was, which was, a Tibetan Refugee Colony...Little, tiny town, in a town, witch myriads of little, tiny streets, where it was impossible not to get lost all the time. But it was so sweet and cute, and as we know, Blondie now loved the Tibetans, so it was great. She found a really nice hotel, and finally, after doing a big washing and hanging in across the room just under the fan for quick drying...ah, she is so smart and clever...!!!, she finally relaxed!

P.S.
The chicken buses are OK for few hour ride - she did that with her friend on her way to McLeod Ganj and it was fine, almost enjoyable, with all the local people starring at them, two blonds, squeezed in between the locals, with number of people twice, at least, of the number of seats...bu that was only few hours, and there were no chickens as it was late in the evening and chickens were asleep!

P.S.
My Lion, love you and miss you!!!
My Friends, love you and miss you too!!! but My Lion more, obviously!
